Life in the Zoo
The first koala to be documented to be taken to a zoo was in 1880 where she only lived for 14 months.There is one weird thing about the koala’s body though, they don’t have tails. Why, you may ask? Simply because koaas don't need them. The koalas have rough oatches on the bottom of their feet that help them if they fall or if they need to grab hold of something that they need to get. So tails are simply unnessasary At the zoos in San Diego koalas are the most viewed animal there. When you see them at the zoo the koalas are most likely sleeping or eating, basically being a koala. Koalas sleep like a rock!
